How to Add Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and Picasa to Nokia Share Online

by Mobile Jorge on October 9, 2009

Tired of having only a few default services on Nokia Share Online, the old Vox isn’t doing much for you anymore, or perhaps you don’t use Flickr nor Ovi Share, well thanks to todays tip you’ll be able to add services like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Picassa to default services on your Nokia Share Online native application. This is certainly one of my favorite tips I’d like to share with you.

Step by Step Guide

This is what you have to do to add these extra options, it is really simple.

1. Point your mobile browser to http://furtiv.mobi or http://furtiv.mobi/beta_instructions.html either link will take you there but the 2nd is the direct link.

2. Once there, click on each of the links shown one at a time, waiting for the small configuration file to download, and also wait for the prompt that its complete, and added to Share Online.  Once the first one is done, move onto the next.

3. Once you have downloaded, and installed the additional sharing options, you can exit the browser.

4. Head to your handset Share Online Application, there you will see the additional options in place ready for activation.

5. Activate each extra option in turn by adding your credentials  for your each sharing medium.

6. Your done, all set up to share to any of your options now.  Remember, if you wanted to set, say, Twitter as your default upload option, simply highlight that option, hit “Options”, and select “Set as default”.

Thank you to MickyFin from NokiaUsers.com for providing this amazing tip :)

Could not agree with you more. Very well said. I cannot stand ANY of this social bullcrap networking stuff. Welcome to the 1970's wedding upheaval again. Then it was cocaine and the Latin Hustle, now it is the sex toys or credit debt of others and clawing onto the old friends through these networks and ruining financially stable marriages.
  • All of them cannot be used in China, because of the network block....shit

    shit...as you say,

unless you use a VPN or Pixelpipe...
  • hi.
when i want to send new made photo to facebook, it tells me to 'login first'
i have to minimize my camera, go into the service and... login ofcourse.
it is really annoying. there is no way to get past that?
  • Take your photo, then click on the FB icon, hit options send to facebook and that's :) try that, it works for me flawlessly

    hi, i tried :)
i take photo, ten i click on icon 'send it' - and it says 'you must sign in first' or sthing like that.
when i minimize camera app, then go to the sending app and actually 'sing in' to facebook, i go back to my camera app and only then i can send photo.
Ofcourse i set it as default. When i set twitter as default, i do not need to go back and log in ;)
o, one thing! when i sign in to facebook for first time, it shows me some numbers, not my actually login. this is how it is meant to be, or i am doing this wrong?
more or less it works, thanks for advice - its so easy now to share photos :)
