Tutorial: How to update your E71 to Quickoffice Premier 6

Yesterday Quickoffice gave all Eseries users a free upgrade to Quickoffice Premier 6 which brought users support for MS Office 2007.

Some folks who heard of this free update first via Twitter where having update issues, including myself, so I created this little mini tutorial for folks who may encounter the same difficulties :)

Steps to follow

1. Launch Quickoffice

2. Hit the option key or left side key and scroll down to refresh catalog

3. It will connect to the internet and download the update

4. Once that is done you’ll see this screen

5. Go into Update and Upgrades and you’ll see this screen

6. Continue through the menus

7. And eventually you’ll get to the download page and voila you’re done

    is any way to go back to old version, I dont like this new office.

    That's a good question, here is my opinion, delete Quickoffice and the native one should be there, if not hard reset, but why don't you like it, just curious, does it affect your functionality ?

    I dont like folder icons and folder preview, that showed when we are going to find a documents, but I think will keep it, because Im not sure if will be after to remove it.
